A low pressure chamber helps to lower the operating pressure of your gun. Instead of giving a small amount of gas with a large force, it gives the gun a large amount of gas at a low force.Or you could say that high pressure gas at low volume turns into high volume gas in low pressure when you have a low pressure chamber. But to have a low pressure chamber work effectively, you must have a high flow bolt, a reg, high flow internals, and a small bore barrel. A low pressure chamber will not reduce your gas intake.
